Swatch Central: SleekMakeUp Blushes

Saturday Sleek MakeUp Swatches!

Today I'm finally sharing swatches of the two Blush products that I purchased from sleekmakeup.com. You probably saw these blushes in my recent Beauty Haul video (http://youtu.be/PveskhjqxO8) where I expressed my instant love for them and since then my feelings have only grown fonder. Lately, I've found myself having an all out exclusive relationship with these beauties! In all seriousness though, I am tremendously pleased with the quality of these blushes. They are each highly pigmented and they glide on effortlessly across the skin while being easily build-able and blend-able. I just love everything about them!
I'm going to start with the individual blush:
Sleek MakeUp Blush in Pomegranate
This lovely Pomegranate blush retails for $5.99 and there are 10 silky shades in total available, which just makes me want to go and buy them all!

Now for my recent cheek obsession:
SleekMakeUp Blush by Three Blush Palette in Lace

This gorgeous blush trio is a steal in my opinion retailing at $12.49 and there are 4 other Blush by 3 palettes available. I not only love each and every blush in this palette, but it also comes with a really great sized mirror which is perfect especially for travel!

This palette is my ♥ for spring and summer and probably for all seasons!
Do you own any Sleek MakeUp Blushes? If so, which one is your favorite?
Thanks so much for stopping by and here's to a wonderful weekend ^-^
And as always, I hope that you have a beautiful day.
Katie

Swatch Central: LORAC GLOgetter Eye Shadow Palette

Hey there! Thanks for stopping by :D Today I'm going to be sharing with you Swatches of a new product I recently bought online at ULTA.com. I posted a new video on my youtube channel the other day, my Quick Beauty Haul: ULTA, Sephora + Sleek Makeup ( you can go here if you haven't seen it yet: http://youtu.be/PveskhjqxO8 ), where I show a couple of new beauty product purchases and one of them is The LORAC GLOgetter Eye Shadow Palette.

First off I ♥ the packaging! It's definitely very visually appealing to me, for some reason I just love the combination of the chocolate brown, gold, and blue and it feels very sturdy with its hard case. But, like with most things in life, the most important part is whats inside and boy oh boy am I happy that I own this palette:

What I first noticed upon opening the palette is its large mirror which is great especially for travel, but my attention was quickly directed on the eye shadows. These eye shadows are ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! The LORAC GLOgetter palette comes with '8 Vibrant shimmer and matte eye shadows and 2 over-sized neutral eye shadows for the perfect base color or highlighter'. This palette is seriously perfect for Spring and Summer with its variety of colorful and shimmery shadows. I especially ♥ the matte brown shadow, the mint shadow (it has such a lovely shimmer), and the purple shadow that seems to have a duo tone finish.

I am so impressed by this palette. It retails exclusively at ulta.com for $20 and comes with 10 beautiful, high-quality eye shadows

As soon as I swatched these shadows I fell in ♥ and I know this palette will be a staple in my makeup collection especially for Spring and Summer.
If you have any questions or comments about this post feel free to let me know!
And as always, I hope that you have a beautiful day

Stila Lip Glaze Swatches

Stila has done it again!

A few weeks ago I made an online purchase through ULTA.com, they had a deal going on that you can create your own trio of Stila Lip Glazes for $15.00 or buy 1 for $8.00. So of course I ended up buying 5 of them, haha. And now I've found myself obsessed with them. Seeing as I don't own very many products from Stila (I completely ♥ the In The Know Palette) this was my first lip product purchase from them so I didn't really know what to expect. Right off the bat, I love how they smell! The 'flavor' -or name- of each gloss has a matching scent. So based on all of the names of the ones I bought, they all smell really really yummy. The glosses themselves are beautiful, they aren't too sticky and they have really great wear. And for the price, especially with the deal I got, these glosses are definitely worth it. Here are some swatches of the ones I picked up:

Stila Lip Glaze Cupcake:

Stila Lip Glaze Raspberry Sorbet:

Stila Lip Glaze Shortcake:

Stila Lip Glaze Clementine:

Stila Lip Glaze Peaches & Cream:

I'm absolutely loving these colors for spring and summer! I might just have to go and pick up some more ...

Urban Decay Deluxe Shadow Box Swatches & Review

So if you saw my recent ULTA HAUL post or video (http://youtu.be/_4dUejVyL6g) you'll know that I picked up some goodies recently and I've been dying to share some swatches of a couple of products that I had mentioned in my haul video. So today I'm going to share with you swatches and an initial review of Urban Decay's Deluxe Shadow Box! First things first, the Deluxe Shadow Box retails for $38.00, but is currently on sale at ULTA (and urbandecay.com) for $16.00. That's over 50% in savings! It comes with a travel size Eye Shadow Primer Potion in Original and 9 beautiful highly pigmented Deluxe Eye Shadows.

I first fell in love with the quality of Urban Decay eye shadows from my beloved Naked & Naked 2 Palettes. If you own or have seen either of these palettes, you'll know that they contain mostly neutral eye shadow shades. So I was extremely impressed with this palette as soon as I opened it and saw these amazingly bright and colorful eye shadows!

Fishnet is a beautiful duotone iridescent purple shadow with a luminous sheen shimmer without glitter.

Honey is a glistening gold shimmer eye shadow that is also a luminous sheen shadow without glitter.

Ransom is a duotone vibrant purple shimmer shadow; luminous sheen, no glitter

Graffiti is a bright green duotone and shimmer shadow; luminous sheen, no glitter

Zero is a charcoal black shadow with small specks of silver sparkle

Peace is a shimmering turquoise shadow with a luminous sheen without glitter

Shag is a golden bronze luminous sheen shade without glitter

Scratch is a gorgeous luminous sheen rose gold eye shadow without glitter which is definitely my favorite shade in this palette

Underground is a brown bronze shimmer eye shadow without glitter

Overall, this palette is a great value full of highly pigmented, high quality, blendable, fun shades in a cute faux-velvety compact. The only negative for me is the 2 sponge applicators that come in the palette, but that's definitely a personal preference thing just because I prefer to use makeup brushes. I recommend at least checking out this palette for yourself because I am so glad that I decided to get my hands on it! I'm so ready to play with these shadows especially for the spring and summer seasons!

I hope that these swatches are helpful to you if you are debating on weather or not to get this palette. If you have any questions about this palette, feel free to leave me a comment ^-^! Thanks so much for stopping by and until next time, I hope you have a beautiful day ♥
xoxo, Katie
