Current Nail Polish

Currently obsessed with this nail polish combination for the month of October/Halloween season! The best part of this nail polish look is how easy it is to create :D

1. To achieve this look I first applied one coat of ULTA Nail Lacquer in Deep Desire. 2. Once that initial layer dries I then took a clean makeup sponge and alternating the polishes I layered them on the sponge reapplying as necessary. For this look I wanted a gradient effect (from dark to light) so I concentrated the black polish closest to my cuticle. The order being (from top to bottom): Black Out, Evening Seduction and Deep Desire. 3. With the polished sponge I quickly pressed it on the nail dabbing a few times until satisfied with the intensity.
4. Finally, I added a fasting drying clear top coat to finish the look!

Too Faced Little Black Book of Beauty Review/swatches

So a couple of weeks ago I made a trip to ULTA and couldn't resist picking up Too Faced's Little Black Book of Beauty. First off I am a fan of Too Faced products and especially love their eye shadow palettes, but when I saw this I knew it was something I had to try. Usually, Too Faced's eye shadow palettes come with nine shadows and retails for $36.00. The Little Black Book of Beauty also retails for $36.00 however, it comes with twelve eye shadows, a bronzer, two blushes, a highlight, lip gloss and a mascara! So right off the bat, I definitely feel like I got a deal by making this purchase :). The quality of each product is really nice and the pigmentation is overall pretty good. I thought I would include some swatches and pictures of the product, that way you'll hopefully get a better idea of what the book is like!

I would definitely recommend this beauty book because there's a good selection of matte, shimmery and sparkly eye shadows as well as a matte and shimmery blush (I like variety). I think this product would be perfect for traveling especially if you didn't want to carry a ton of different makeup products with you. The packaging itself seems pretty sturdy as well. I do have some negatives about the product though, such as the eye shadows; I really think that most of them (if not all) work better with a primer applied first and the Lip Gloss is okay not something that I'll probably use too often.
Hopefully this post will help you decide whether or not this product is for you. If you have any questions about this product feel free to leave me a comment! Until next time, I hope that you have a beautiful day.
